When Zach started kindergarten, we started a tradition in our house. The "back to school child/children" get to pick a special meal to eat the first full day of school. I also make a VERY simple back to school cake every year.
This year the boys chose spaghetti and garlic bread for their meal. I was surprised they could agree on something and we didn't have to have TWO special meal nights! Here they are ready to dig into their cake...
