Today was the end of our basketball season. We started the morning at Jacob's game. Jacob has really grown in his skills this year. He can actually dribble and walk at the same time now!!
Here he is (on the left) driving towards the basket. No, he did not make it.
Jacob showing off his medal!
Then we headed to Bloomington for Zach's game. It is tournament time and they were playing the #1 team in the league. Zach's team lost the game. Zach had a great season and learned a lot.
Zach going one on one.
After the game we headed to BW3's for some "wing" therapy after the loss.
Today was also the "Polar Plunge" at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet. It is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. Basically, people run down into the lake and go right back out. At least this year it was 70 degrees and they didn't have to cut through the ice for it!!! Anyway, Zach and some of his friends have decided they are going to do it next year. Can you say CRAAAAZZZY?
Here are some of the "plungers" this year.
So, we are preparing for a week with no basketball practice or open gyms. Hmmm. . .what will we do with all that free time? Well, Zach is hoping the warm weather sticks around so he can get some golf in. And Jacob wants to jump on the neighbor's new trampoline. And Lizzie? Well, she learned to ride her princess scooter and can't wait to spend more time on it!
