I missed this class. I count my children as blessings. However, parenting is hard work! It makes Jillian Michaels' workouts seem easy! Well, not quite! And the role of parent is one I will have forever. Every time I think we have something figured out, we move into the next stage of development.
Just curious. . . what are your parenting challenges? What are your suggestions as we tread through the waters of parenting?

Be there... just always be there.
Don't leave parenting of your children up to others. Be the parents that are always home on Friday night, Saturday night so when your kids come in and out you are there asking them where they are going, who they are with, etc.
Sacrifice time with your friends, few in any vacations away (the two of you), no late night dances, if one of you is away having fun with friends, the other one is there for the kids.
But, as much as possible... both be there. Be there to know what your kids are doing and to show them you care about what they are doing.
