Slowly but surely we are getting everything ready for Christmas. Two of our trees are up. Tomorrow we will continue our family tradition of putting up the Nativity together while reading about the birth of Christ from Luke. I love shutting the lights off, curling up on the couch and watching a cheesy predictable Hallmark movie under the twinking of the Christmas lights. It truly is my happy place.
Our kitten, Cali, loves warming herself by the glow of the fire as well.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.
Our main tree in the living room. We have fewer decorations this year thanks to our new kitten. I did not want to risk her knocking over the tree and breaking some irreplacable ornaments - specifically the ones my Mamaw Wellman painted for us.
Brian collects Santas and a few years ago we added a "Santa Tree" to the office It is full of Santa ornaments.
