GREAT!

Like I said in an earlier post - I KNEW I was doing well. The doctor confirmed that for me today. It was such a great visit. Now I am just waiting for Brian to get home so I can "strongly encourage" him that we need to go to the local Mexican restaurant to celebrate!!

I also signed up to participate in the Stratify 2 research study. Here is a little about it:

JCV Antibody Program in Patients with Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis Receiving or Considering Treatment with Tysabri® (STRATIFY-2)
The STRATIFY-2 Study will identify multiple sclerosis (MS) patients who have an antibody in their blood against the JC virus (JCV). Antibodies are produced by the body’s immune system when it detects foreign substances. It is thought that approximately half of MS patients have antibodies to JCV. The purpose of STRATIFY-2 is to gather more information about how many MS patients being treated with TYSABRI or who are considering beginning Tysabri have this antibody in their blood. We hope to better understand whether the incidence of Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML) in Tysabri-treated patients who do not have detectable antibodies to JCV (antibody negative) is lower than in patients who have detectable antibodies to JCV (antibody positive). At enrollment, and then once a year for the next 2 years, a blood sample will be collected as part of your routine care.
