Holy Cow!! Jacob is ELEVEN! I can't believe it. We had a nice relaxing day at home. Both Lizzie and Zach slept over with friends so Jacob got to have some "only child time" on his birthday.
We hid his present in his room early on his birthday. Then we told him he had to put away his clothes. He was very frustrated that he had to do that on his birthday. We called his phone. He came walking down the hall saying, "What the heck? Did you get a new phone? It is in my room ringing." When we told him it was his birthday present, he about came out of his skin! He was so excited AND surprised!
