Long Weekend in Indiana

I love long weekends. Last weekend, the long weekend came just in time. I needed a break. I needed to see family. I needed a small town atmosphere. We had a great time. The kids played with their cousins. I spent time with my grandparents. I spent time with my mom, step-dad, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews - everyone! We shared meals and laughs together. We hit the Farmer's Market. Zach even got in some golf time with his uncle and great-grandpa! I rested and came back refreshed.

Part of the "playground" at my mom's house are these incredible "school bells." Jake woke up the neighborhood Saturday morning!
My sister, Kelly and nephew, Brycen on the way to the Farmer's Market.
Lizzie and Katie start the trek to the Farmer's Market. Notice the minimal height difference? Katie is 3 and Lizzie is 5!!
Then the boys got suckered into walking with them for a while.
Playing on the Merry-Go-Round. Zach would push and push and then jump on. They were DIZZY when they finally got off!
Lizzie and Katie visit Mamaw and Papaw Wellman's house. The door is unlocked but the kids like to ring the doorbell to announce their presence and then burst right in. The cat in Katie's arms did NOT go in with her. That cat was so good natured. All the kids picked it up any which way and it would just purr.
Jake says "More Patty Cake? Seriously?"
Katie and her sister Kelsey. Check out the My Auntie is Awesome shirt!!
Brycen, Katie and Lizzie got popsicles from Papaw Burton!

Lizzie did this a lot this weekend. "Mamaw! Somebody smells!"
Love that baby Kelsey smile!
Poor Lizzie ended up with a fever. Here she is cuddling with Grandpa Ellis.
