Happenings of Late

We took some Senior Pictures of Zach this weekend.  He was a good sport and I think he even ended up enjoying himself.  We were beyond blessed to have a good friend take them.  It was a good time to just spend time with her while she snapped pictures of my sweet senior.  I have a 1000 pictures to go through.  I have no idea how I will pick just a few.  They are all so good.

Here are just a few of the pictures.

Tonight we carved our pumpkins.

Well. . . Zach carved his.

Jacob and Lizzie told Brian what they wanted and he carved theirs.  What a  good dad!

This little guy watched every move we made.

When he wasn't chewing on Jacob!

They did scoop their own pumpkins out.

Even if they thought it was gross.

We lit them tonight even though it was raining.  I hope to get better pictures tomorrow.

Finally!

Finally. . . after a year and a half. . . I have returned.   I let Facebook take the place of this blog.  I updated our pictures and happenings on there.  However, some of our family and friends, who are not on Facebook, voiced that they missed the blog postings.  So...here I go again!

I will not even try to fill you in on the last year and a half.  I will just start at the beginning on this school year.

First day of school 2015 - 2016

I can't believe we have a SENIOR, 8th Grader and a 5th Grader!!

Lizzie participated in a cheer clinic at the school.   All the participants cheered at the football game.  Her favorite part was "flying!"

Flag football started for Jacob this week.  He really enjoys it.  We are starting to talk about whether or not he wants to play football in high school next year.  That sentence scares me.  High School next year?  Jacob???

How do you stay warm while watching flag football on a cold fall day?  Cuddle with daddy of course.

We had a the privilege of watching Zach in his last high school golf tournament.  It was bittersweet.  He was healthy and able to golf the entire season for the first time in his HS career.  It was so nice to see that.  Unfortunately, his season ended a week sooner than he had hoped as they did not qualify for the state tournament.

One of the things I love about this kid, is that even after shooting a triple bogey on a hole, he puts his emotions aside and encourages his teammates.

Zach and his girlfriend, Lexie went to Homecoming together.

So, in a very tiny nutshell, that catches up on this school year!
